The Cold Spring Area Historical Society (CSAHS) was formed by a group of local citizens who informally met in November 2006, and formally held their first meeting on December 6, 2006.

It was incorporated by the Minnesota Secretary of State in January 2007, and has received IRS Approval as a 501(c)(3) non profit corporation effective January 31, 2008.

The CSAHS is made of local citizens who are interested in preserving the equipment and artifacts being moved from the current Cold Spring Granite site in downtown Cold Spring.  At the present time, CSAHS has no collections of material, however during 2008 will be formulating collection priorities and procedures.  Won't you help them by not only joining, but also getting involved?

The CSAHS is a member of the Minnesota Historical Society and affiliated with the Stearns County Museum and Historical Society.
